La NANUK prende il nome dall'omonimo Jack Russell Terrier a pelo ruvido dei suoi proprietari e ideatori del progetto, che in un recente comunicato stampa hanno dichiarato senza mezze misure: "Ci piaceva l'idea che a lavorare fosse il nostro cane, dato che mangia, beve e dorme tutto il giorno. Non ha mai lavorato un giorno in vita sua, dovete crederci".
NANUK takes its name from the rough-coated Jack Russell Terrier belonging to its owners and project creators, who in a recent press release declared bluntly: "We liked the idea of our dog being the one working, since he eats, drinks, and sleeps all day. He hasn't worked a day in his life, you have to believe us".
